1. We must admit we need His HELP

2. We must come to God BROKEN
   • Bartimaeus was DESPERATE for God
     • Psalm 31: 8
     • Psalm 147: 3
     • Isaiah 61
3. We must surrender in FAITH to God
   • We must surrender to SAVING grace
   • We must SURRENDER to sanctifying grace
   • We must surrender and FOLLOW Christ
