Caleb is from Jacksonville, Alabama. His father served in student ministry for 20 years before becoming the Lead Pastor at First Baptist Weaver. It was at Weaver that Caleb was called to ministry. During that time, he interned for two years under his Student Pastor and mentor, Matthew Morrison.

Caleb is passionate about following God’s leading as he ministers to students. He believes that with a foundation on the Word of God, a heart devoted to prayer, and a relentless pursuit of God’s kingdom, the church will see students come to faith in Jesus Christ and grow as disciples who make disciples.

Caleb is engaged to his fiancée, Sara Strickland, who is studying physical therapy at Wallace State Community College. Sara looks forward to serving alongside Caleb in student ministry—loving students and encouraging them to follow Jesus.

Caleb is currently studying business at Jacksonville State University and is expected to graduate in Spring 2027. Following his graduation, he plans to continue his theological training at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary through its Birmingham extension center.
