FCA Basketball League

FCA Etowah is bringing FCA Sports youth basketball to our community this winter in partnership with SBC Southside! This league will give young athletes the opportunity to learn basketball fundamentals, develop character, and grow in faith in a fun, encouraging environment shaped by Christian principles and caring adult leaders.

Current plans include separate boys’ and girls’ divisions for kindergarten–1st grade, 2nd–3rd grade, and 4th–5th grade. Final divisions and team availability will be determined by registration numbers and overall interest.

Registration opens September 14. Practices will begin in December, and games will be played on eight Saturdays beginning in January.

The $100 registration fee is all-inclusive, with no additional admission fees for games. A limited amount of scholarship assistance may also be available.

Volunteer coaches are needed for both boys’ and girls’ teams. Every adult volunteer must apply for a role, provide references, and complete a background check before serving.
